Dr Keti Pachkoria is a board-certified specialist in the field of Ophthalmology and the Director of KT Eye Care Ltd. She is fully accredited Consultant Eye surgeon with licence to practice in the UK (GMC), UK oversee territory Gibraltar (GMRB) and Europe (Spain).
She was born and raised in Georgia and has been practicing ophthalmology for more than 10 years in Europe and the UK. She received her ophthalmology training at the University Hospital Gregorio Marañon in Madrid, Spain and completed advanced fellowship program in Medical Retina and Glaucoma at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye hospital in the UK.
Ophthalmic Experience
Dr Keti Pachkoria has been working as a consultant ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital in the UK where she gained significant experience in managing and treating acute eye emergencies and common eye conditions leading to irreversible blindness such as glaucoma, age related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease.
As an eye surgeon, she has a unique experience in performing microincision cataract surgery, clear lens extraction. Dr Keti Pachkoria has a special interest in performing eyelid surgery, she often combines the aesthetic procedure with the surgical eyelid lift to enhance the youthful appearance and patient satisfaction. Her effective treatments combining surgical and non-surgical procedures are based on an in-depth scientific knowledge and experience of eyelid anatomy.

Dr Keti Pachkoria is a dedicated clinician, what really motivates her is making a difference for her patients. She spends ample time with her patients and makes sure they go away from her consultations feeling reassured, knowing more about their condition and their treatment options. She likes to place emphasis on a holistic approach and develops specific treatment plans that best suit each individual patient. She is passionate about achieving safe, painless and the best possible outcome for patients based on clinical evidence and her vast experience.
Dr Keti Pachkoria has authored many internationally recognised medical articles. She was a first doctor awarded the PhD degree cum laude in Clinical Pharmacology with International Mention “European Doctor” at the University of Malaga in 2007. She is actively involved in continuing medical education activities; she was recently awarded an International Education Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
